The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says 52-year old Mark Roher grew upset when two young girls cut in front of him in a buffet line at a country club in Boca Raton.

The state says drivers need to because of a new law. Starting Jan. 1, frames that promote a favorite college or sports team become illegal if the frame obscures the state's name on the license plate.

As it sits, a license-plate frame imposing on this state’s name is reason enough for an officer to pull over a vehicle. Then, once pulled over, fines could reach past $100.

California law already fortunately — in theory — limits the ability of police to share photo-captured vehicle license plate data with out-of-state public agencies. Such as ICE.
