Big Spring's school board unanimously approved a recommendation at its meeting Monday night to pursue a move of interscholastic athletics from the Mid-Penn Conference to the YAIAA.

Big Spring School Board voted to leave the Mid-Penn Conference and apply to the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA). The YAIAA will vote on Big Spring's membership on May 12.
