Ten-year Treasury yields were hovering just shy of their highest since last May, and the 30-year yield was close to its highest since November 2023, as investors continued to show concern that President-elect Trump’s import tariff and immigration plans may revive inflationary pressures.

Wall Street observed an up and down day for the broader market averages on Monday as markets rallied in the morning and sold off in the afternoon. Investors saw a mixed finish as the Dow lost ground but the Nasdaq led the way higher as shares of Nvidia (NVDA) moved up 3.

The Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF, which holds Nvidia, Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp, Google parent Alphabet Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Tesla Inc. and Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc, was up 2.3%, according to FactSet data, at last check. That exceeded the S&P 500’s 1.3% rise.

At the closing bell on Friday, the blue chip Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.8% to 42,732, the broader S&P 500 added 1.3% to 5,942 and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 1.8% to 19,621.

Wall Street has moved higher on Monday morning with the Nasdaq leading the pack, as investors looks to continue shrugging off the recent weakness.  The S&P 500 (SP500) was +0.8%, the Nasdaq Composite (COMP:IND) was +1.
