Man fatally shot while trying to enter ex-girlfriend's apartment in Fort Worth; shooter cooperating with police investigation.

FORT WORTH, Texas - A man who allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s Fort Worth apartment was shot and killed over the weekend. Fort Worth police said the shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday at an apartment complex on Watermark Drive, which is in a neighborhood near NW Loop 820 and Lake Worth Boulevard.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was shot and killed Sunday after breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

The victim was shot multiple times, according to police. Officers responded to the shooting scene on Harding Street on Tuesday night.

Officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of Blackmore Avenue. The person who reported the shooting said their boyfriend was shot, according to a 911 call log.

Police released video Thursday after a man fired shots at Lake Worth police, led them on a chase and barricaded himself in a Fort Worth home.
