I've spoken to a PSN rep in the past, it was suggested that my credit card address and address on my PSN account don't match (which it didn't at the time, but do now). Jun 25, 2023 · Yup your main ps5 can play offline, your second one needs internet access. Since both are at home absolutely zero issues with such a setup. If you put the consoles in rest mode with internet connectivity vs fully shutting down, the cloud sync should work fine as well.

Nov 15, 2020 · On PS5, it's account based so you now get your auto save upload. From what I've seen, auto installing updates in rest mode works for both accounts as well. It seems moving from the whole primary system thing to a more account focused system has opened up more features for those who gameshare which is nice.

Jan 22, 2025 · The issue is that Sony tied it to the previously existing PSN system which is held together with duct tape. When they first started everything was listed then the HD2 situation happened and led to all of this. The solution would be for Sony to make a new PSN account system specifically for PC but that doesn't seem to be in the cards at the moment.
