What is your best PS1 game of all time - Reddit
Best game I've ever played. I had it when I was a kid.. couldn't beat it at the time; only made it to Twilight Gulch. Then played it again when I got older, beat it. I've best that game countless times. Animation 10/10 Sound 10/10 Gameplay: Hard as fuck and totoally unfair. 😅

Soul Edge (Blade in US) - Absolutely the best 3D fighting game on the console in NA. Star Gladiator - another great 3D fighter. Tobal 2 - often regarded as the best fighting game on the console, but Japan only Magical Drop 3 - arcade-faithful puzzle game. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - best puzzle game on the system IMHO.

I'm an old school type of cat, so I love the old school Mortal Kombat games. It is without question the best one. As it is the only one that includes alternate versions of a few characters. Plus a ton of codes for things like one button fatalities that make it a great thing to play at any time.
