Apr 21, 2015 · The list price of the sprinter van before the 4wd option is higher than the transit - so even if Quigley charges more for their conversion, it probably will come in cheaper in the end. On the sprinter, the 4WD is only offered with the V6 diesel engine option BTW.

Aug 10, 2018 · I just had my Transit converted by Quadvan and they will do used. Quigley will do used Transits for now as they are waiting for the 2020 to come out. Personally I went with Quadvan as John ask questions about my use, has a great rear shock clearance kit, regeared by axles no problem and a number of other things.

Oct 29, 2013 · Now keep in mind, this is me not even looking under the hood of a connect, but I think if you are to do this you might as well go "all" the way real 4wd not some AWD hack set up. IMO the best way to go about this is to gut the van remove the uni-body tub and rebuild the tub so it can sit on either a jeep chassis or a 4wd ford ranger chassis.

Oct 2, 2021 · Not sure what models LC you have owned but the 80 and 100 LC are AWD with 4-Hi and 4-Low. Really this is the best of both worlds, with the exception of gas mileage. The AWD system is far superior to 4WD on rain and snow covered roads. Off-road a 4WD system with a hi and low transfer case is going to be far superior.

Feb 10, 2021 · It seems that the new transit trail sold overseas has an additional mode on the awd called lock. It locks 50:50 torque to front and rear. Doesn’t this essentially turn the vehicle into a true 4x4? Does quigley/quadvan have some arrangement with ford to keep this out of the us? Please let me know what you think.
