Sep 12, 2023 · So for my first GTA 4 modding experience, this has been so vital. I really like how you don't push your own preference but offer options and different views. And small things like "This patch is essential, however, if you used tool x, you already have this" are so helpful, otherwise I'd end up confused or with duplicate files!

Delete GTA IV main game data if previously installed of the vanilla version and run the ISO, let the now modded game data install again. Thanks to u/MaPoirot Share Add a Comment

i recently bought gta iv complete edition on steam. I want to get some good mods (I do not want to downgrade) what are some good graphics mods and other quality of life stuff to improve my play through on this version.

Nov 24, 2021 · no you won't get banned but modding IV on RGL is impossible. i made the mistake of buying it on RGL. RGL will forcibly verify your files every other time you launch. there are "solutions" but many people report them not working at all whatsoever. i had to buy GTA IV again on steam after a couple weeks, i was so frustrated.

No need to downgrade. Also enable MSAA in DXVK. In commandline.txt in game root enable these options:

May 15, 2012 · Basically I had the Simple Trainer and Traffic fix working on my EFLC (patch 1.2), everything was perfect and it worked.... However on GTA IV it would crash when the game is loading wierd :\ I was on the latest patch 1.7 :\ It seemed it didn't like sound.dll, it just never loaded the .asi mods which was a pain since I preferred GTA IV over EFLC...
