King Zhou (; Chinese: 紂王; pinyin: Zhòu Wáng) was the pejorative posthumous name given to Di Xin of Shang (商帝辛; Shāng Dì Xīn) or Shou, King of Shang (商王受; Shāng Wáng Shòu), the last king of the Shang dynasty of ancient China. [4]

Di Xin (1105 BC — 1046 BC), the last king of the Shang Dynasty, had long been considered responsible for the perdition of his kingdom. Hence, he was given a derogatory posthumous title: the King Zhou of Shang, or Shang Zhou Wang.

King Wen of Zhou, the ruler of the Zhou and vassal of the Shang king, was given the title "Overlord of the West" [1] by Di Xin of Shang (King Zhou). [ c ] Di Xin used King Wen to guard his rear while he was involved in a south-eastern campaign.
