Sleep Kirby is a picture drawn by Paint Roller in the Paint Panic sub-game in Kirby: Canvas Curse. In Kirby Air Ride, and Kirby's Return to Dream Land onwards, Kirby's sleep hat appears purple with yellow polka dots instead of the traditional green and white polka dot hat.

Sleep is a Copy Ability that first appeared in Kirby's Adventure. It is usually acquired from Noddy. When Kirby receives this ability, he stops and dons a night-cap, his eyelids grow heavy, and he falls asleep in the very spot he stands, then wakes up after a few seconds.

Deep Sleep is an Evolved Copy Ability based on Sleep that appears in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Unlike the standard variant, when Kirby acquires this ability, he is not automatically put to sleep: instead he is free to move around as usual, just with lazy half-open eyes.
