May 23, 2020 · Kamiya reminds me of good ol' itagaki who made the first 2 ninja gaiden reboots. While the first game in particular was awesome, itagaki would talk smack about like playstation and other peoples games and stuff, even though there were clear flaws in the games hes made.

Hideki Kamiya left Capcom after the first Devil May Cry. Devil May Cry 3 was directed by Hideaki Itsuno and Astral Chain was directed by Takahisa Taura.

Kamiya has gone on record several times stating that he considers Bayonetta a Nintendo exclusive franchise now, often pointing to Nintendo when asked about bringing the series back to multiplatform.

Well without Kamiya, Itsuno managed to make DMC3, 4 and 5 so maybe someone new will keep the spirit with Bayonetta 4.
